EASC#6 will be held in Malmö, Sweden So Far 39 countries will take part.
Location[]
On 10 May 2013, Swedish broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT) And EASC Owner Announced Malmö Arena In Malmö Will Be The Host Venue For The 6th Edition Of Euro-Asian Song Contest.This Will Be The Second Time That The Competition Will Be Held In Sweden And The First Time In Malmö.Malmö, in the southernmost province of Scania, is Sweden's third largest city by population after Stockholm and Gothenburg, and is one of the largest cities in Scandinavia. Malmö is the seat of Malmö Municipality and the capital of Skåne County. The administrative entity for most of the city is Malmö Municipality which, as of January 2012, has 302,835 inhabitants in eight different localities. Malmö is also a bimunicipal locality, as part of it is formally situated in Burlöv Municipality. The total population of the urban area was 280,415 in December 2010.
Semi-final allocation[]
The draw that determined the semi-final allocation was held on 22 May 2013 at the Malmö City Hall.There are 5 pots for 7 countries in Pot 1-4 and 6 countries in Pot 5.17 countries will go to Semifinal 1,while to other 17 are going to Semifinal 2.
